V_ <br /> il: LOUISVILLE ARTS & HUMANITIES COUNCIL <br /> Meeting Minutes from December 19, 1991 <br /> IATTENDING: John Hansen, Joanne Lyman, with Mary O'Brien substituting as secretary and <br /> Carolyn Markham presiding. <br /> IGUESTS: John Eifler, Steve Baysinger, Pasco Scarpella, Rick Hays, Vicki Henderson, Wanda <br /> Tierney <br /> IPROCEDURES: Carolyn announced that this meeting would be recorded on cassette tapes. <br /> Future meetings will also be recorded. Guests are welcome to contribute to discussions <br /> regarding items on the agenda. If guests wish to present a specific proposal, they can contact <br /> Iher in advance be added to the agenda. Board members may bring up new or unfinished <br /> business during those sections of the agenda. Guests may make comments of no longer than <br /> three minutes on any subject during the "Comments" section of the agenda. <br /> IMINUTES: The Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes without reading them <br /> aloud. The minutes were corrected to state that "John Hansen will complete the Music in the <br /> IPark reporting form." The corrected minutes were approved. <br /> TREASURERS REPORT: Checking account balance - $1,208.67. Money market account - <br /> S10,960.25. Account breakdown: LAHC Administrative - 918.92, Recreation Center - $1,250, <br /> b-- SCFD grants for 1992 - $10,000 ($2,500 each for LAA, LAHC operating, LAHC lighting, <br /> CCCT lighting). <br /> IllJohn presented a long-distance telephone bill. Carolyn will contact Peter about the two bills <br /> from Centennial Printing to determine what they are for and to make sure that they are paid. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE: Jane Swolak sent us an inventory of items the BAA is storing in the <br /> pool area and a waiver of responsibility for loss or damage to the items. The CCAH formally <br /> granted an extension of the grant funding for the Recreation Center Art until March 31, 1992. <br /> I The CCAH sent forms and information regarding nominations for the Governor's awards. The <br /> IRS acknowledged that we are indeed a non-profit organization. Carolyn sent Young People's <br /> Concert grant funds after receiving the signed contract which we had requested. The City of <br /> I Louisville signed and submitted the agreement regarding the use of the piano at the Louisville <br /> .Center for the Arts. John Eifler gave us a copy of his first edition of the newsletter for the <br /> International Creative Marquetry Society. Viva Johnson, from the Broomfield Council on the <br /> I Arts & Humanities, contacted several of the board members to encourage participation of <br /> Louisville art organizations in a tri-city arts festival in March. Joanne submitted a form to <br /> record our inventory. She will provide additional copies and begin the inventory. <br /> ICHAIRPERSONS REPORT <br /> IYoung People's Concert: The Council has disbursed the grant money. <br /> Proposed Changes of Bylaws: Mary proposed changes to the bylaws which were discussed and <br /> IF. then voted upon as follows. <br /> I <br />
