1 It was suggested that Roberts Rules of order on meeting conduc: Pe obtained and utilized during formal meetings. ';-=, was ' made and seconded to use this format. It will oe the Ohairperson' s discretion as to whether meetings will be conducted on a formal or informal basis. Mary O' Brien volunteered to record meeting minutes for • the November meetinc as we are without a formal secretary. Tne secretarial duties will rotate until someone is a000inted. ' John is interested in applying for the Colorado Visions Grant as an Individual and will • be investigating an.. restrictions .regarding the council sponsoring him. Mary will be working on building scheduling for ?C. The Children_' Art Show was discussed. A date of December- btr 4as set for the• show. The Art Association • as committed to assisting with the show. John will be coordinat_r.g efforts id- :he show. Mary will type an informational letter for John to distribute to teachers and students. It wao decided that pre-cut mattes would be given to the teachers. Peter did an excellent job geting the council stationary done. Paper and envelopes will be available in the office .- Carolyn will be speaking with Karen Wambolt at the Recre_t.c' enter to determine if they will pay to have the piano tuned. LAHC will choose the technician. ' Mary will be serving refreshments at the Piano Recital . Funds were approved for this purpose. ' The Historical Commission has taken the trophies that were in • _he building. Carolyn will be checking with their group to see if they wish to take the trophy case. A letter will be written to them thanking them for taking the trophies. The budget for the remainder of the year was discussed.
