Treasurer's report: The treasurer's report was read and approved. <br /> Treasurer's report is attached. John Hansen thanked Jillian for typing the <br /> report. <br /> Carolyn Markham motioned that a Treasurer's report be submitted in <br /> writing each month. The motion was 2nd by Marilyn Rest and <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> Building committee: Peter Stewart attended the Building Committee <br /> meeting September 6th and reported that the project is moving forward. <br /> Correspondence: <br /> Bills: Bills received were read and accepted. <br /> CCA Grant: <br /> Anita Gandy asked for help in preparing the grant forms due by <br /> September 28th. Pat Howard will prepare the budget for publicity and <br /> the financial statement. John Hansen will prepare the Organizational <br /> History, and secure a commitment from Illustrated Theater for 1993. <br /> Carolyn Markham and Peter Stewart will check on the `plan for <br /> accessibility', and secure letters of commitment from local businesses to <br /> underwrite 8 scholarships. Wanda Tierney will submit a resume for the <br /> Choreographic Workshop and ask an local dance teachers to provide <br /> discounts to students of the workshop eT- 2_ s M) <br /> Young Artist Exhibit: <br /> John Hansen reported that the Young Artist Exhibit is a co-sponsored <br /> event of the LAA and the LAHC. It was recommended that art teachers <br /> be contacted first to get them involved. LAHC's responsibility is publicity, <br /> local support, and funding. John suggested that the exhibit open with the <br /> Parade of Lights. <br /> Computer Upgrade: <br /> Pat Howard reported that Rick Hayes has researched the computer <br /> upgrade: $150 for a hard drive, $35 to increase the capacity, and $200 <br /> for a color monitor. Rick Hayes will donate Word Perfect. Wanda Tierney <br /> motioned that Rick Hayes be provided the $185 to upgrade the <br /> computer with the hard drive and increase the capacity. The motion was <br /> 2nd by Pat Howard and unanimously approved. <br /> Page 2 <br />
