Attendees: <br /> Eric Fridh, Sara Godshalk,John Hansen, Eva Kosinski, Barb Matson <br /> no guests (this meeting time used by a number of organizations) <br /> B. Approval of Minutes: <br /> Minutes for the last meeting were not available. <br /> C. Treasurer's Report: (Eric Fridh) <br /> A copy of the treasurer's report is attached. SCFD funding for 1996 has <br /> been deposited. Bulk of expenses were from the Folk Arts Program, and <br /> expenses are not yet in from Young Artists Series. All programs, however, <br /> have come in under budget. <br /> D. Correspondence&Announcements <br /> The City is working on the smoke alarm that insisted on beeping during <br /> the Art Center informational mtg. presentation (Dec. 19). <br /> • Eva Kosinski has received a flyer from the Colorado Lawyers for the Arts <br /> announcing Spring lectures and presentations. She will mail to anyone <br /> she knows of who has interest . We need a more permanent mechanism ' <br /> to let everyone know. Posting at the Art Center is only useful for a limited <br /> subset of people. A mailing was also received from Colorado News 4 with <br /> tips on PR for television. <br /> .There will be a City Council Work Session on January 10 re: filling the <br /> board and current LAHC progress. <br /> This will be John Hansen's last official LAHC meeting. His term is up in <br /> 1996, and Sara noted there was significant appreciation for his work over <br /> the past several years. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> A. Dates for 1996 program events: <br /> CONCERT SERIES: Second Fridays of the following months have been <br /> booked for the Concert Series: April, May, September, October, November. <br /> There may be a December concert as well, but that's not yet booked. $25. <br /> fee to be paid to Parks &Rec. Ads for talent will be run early in January. <br /> SUNll\'IER 'CONCERT SERIES IN THE PARK: This is a project done for <br /> Parks & Rec. by the Arts Council - there is no information this early. <br /> • <br />
