Cityo <br />f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO - SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Special Meeting Minutes <br />April 22, 2014 <br />City Hall, Council Chambers <br />749 Main Street <br />8:00 PM <br />Call to Order —Mayor Muckle called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Roll Call was taken and the following members were present: <br />City Council: <br />Staff Present: <br />Mayor Robert Muckle, Mayor Pro Tem Hank Dalton. <br />Council members: Susan Loo, Jay Keany, Ashley <br />Stolzmann and Jeff Lipton <br />Malcolm Fleming, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Deputy City Manager <br />Joe Stevens, Parks and Recreation Director <br />Troy Russ, Planning and Building Safety Director <br />Diana Trettin, CIP Manager <br />Nancy Varra, City Clerk <br />REGULAR AGENDA <br />DISCUSSION /DIRECTION - CITY SERVICES FACILILTY <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />City Manager Fleming provided background information of the City Services Facility. <br />The current facility is old, undersized and has safety issues. The City staff analyzed <br />design alternatives to address the buildings issues. In 2013, staff researched moving <br />the location of the City Services Facility to a more appropriate location and presented <br />their findings to the City Council, who directed staff to find an alternative site. Staff <br />identified 'a 13.3 acre parcel of land on the corner of Dillon and 104 Street in, the <br />Colorado Technology Center. The City Council approved the purchase and closed on <br />the 13.3 acre parcel.
