CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Resolution No. 8 <br />Series, 1976 <br />A resolution concerning the general application of Fi.6. 1041 (1974) <br />regarding "Site Selection and Development of New Communities" as an <br />activity of state interest as it applies to the City of Louisville land <br />use and development controls and the consideration of designation of <br />the Colorado Technological Center as a site selection and development <br />of new communities activity of state interest. <br />WHEREAS, on April 29, 1975 the Colorado Land Use Commission by <br />resolution formally requested that the City of Louisville, Colorado <br />take action with respect to the designation of the Colorado Technological <br />Center as a site selection and development of new communities activity <br />of state interest pursuant to FI.B. 1041 (1974), and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville desires at this time to establish <br />the general application of site selection and development of new <br />communities activity o~f state interest to its land use and development <br />controls, and <br />I+dHEREAS, subsequent to the effective date of the annexation of <br />the Colorado Technological Center the City Council ordered a public <br />hearing to be held to consider said designation and notice of said <br />public hearing was published and sent to the Land Use Commission as <br />required in C.R.S. 106•-7-404 (1973) as amended, and <br />WHEREAS, said public hearing was held on h1ay 4, 1976 and which <br />hearing was continued ito and closed on June 1, 1976, and <br />Wf1EREAS, the Cit~r staff and consultants have recommended to the <br />City Council that the City incorporate the requirements and evaluation <br />criteria contained in i~he Land Use Commission "Mode Regulations", <br />Chapter 21, Site Selecttion and Development of New Communities, into <br />existing City land use and development control ordinances, resolutions <br />
