City Council Meeting Minutes June 17, 2014 Page 6 of 7 easement between Tots 1 through 4 on Block 5. The intent of the easement was to provide utility service to future development on each of the four lots. In 2013, the Louisville City Council approved a Planned Unit Development (PUD) for Etkin Johnson to construct a single development on all four Tots, eliminating the necessity for the 20- foot drainage and utility easement. No utilities have been placed in the easement and drainage is being provided at another location on the property. The Public Works Department has reviewed the request and determined the easement is no longer necessary. There is no fiscal impact to the City of Louisville associated with vacating the existing 20 -foot utility easement. Staff recommended Council approval of Ordinance No. 1667, Series 2014. Mayor Pro Tem Dalton opened the public hearing and requested public comment and hearing none, closed the public hearing. MOTION: Council member Lipton moved to approve Ordinance No 1667, Series 2014 on second and final reading, seconded by Council member Stolzmann. All were in favor. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 5 -0. Absent: Mayor Muckle and Council member Keany ORDINANCE No. 1668, SERIES 2014 - AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 8.48 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO MECHANICAL AMUSEMENT DEVICES -1st Reading — Set Public Hearing 7/1/14 Mayor Pro Tem Dalton requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1668, Series 2014. Staff recommended Council approve the ordinance on first reading, order publication and set a public hearing for July 1, 2014. MOTION: Mayor Pro Tem Dalton moved to approve Ordinance No. 1668, Series 2014 on first reading, ordered it published and set a public hearing for July 1, 2014, seconded by Council member Stolzmann. All were in favor. Absent: Mayor Muckle and Council member Keany. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Light pointed out if Council wishes to have any questions on the November ballot, they must provide notification to the Boulder County Clerk by the end of July. COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Council member Stolzmann reported on the Consent Agenda, Council welcomed Steve Domenico, a new member to the Sustainability Advisory Board.
