Approval of Minutes — June 17, 2014 and June 24, 2014 <br />C. Approve Contract for Recreation Center and Memory Square Americans <br />with Disabilities Act Improvements <br />D. Award Contract to Western State Fire Protection Company for City Hall <br />Fire Sprinkler Installation <br />Mayor Muckle called for changes to the Consent Agenda. <br />Council member Stolzmann requested the following amendments to the June 24, 2014 <br />meeting minutes: On page 10: Council member Stolzmann was not in favor of the trail <br />for the future tennis courts cutting through the open space that was purchased for <br />conservation. On Page 9: Council member Stolzmann suggested the City Council <br />conduct a study session for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. She felt <br />there were redundant systems being requested or there are departments that were not <br />working in concert on the project. <br />MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as amended, <br />seconded by Council member Lipton. All were in favor. Absent: Council member Loo. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Muckle reported on the grand opening of the Alfalfas store in Louisville. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming also reported on the opening of the Alfalfas. He thanked Alfalfas <br />for corning to Louisville and their employees and contractor for getting everything ready <br />for their grand opening. He expressed his thanks to Chief Building Official Ken <br />Swanson, the Building staff and Planning Building Safety Director Russ, who worked <br />many additional hours to ensure everything, is up to code. <br />He reported the Friday night Street Faire parking enforcement is ongoing and thus far, <br />23 tickets have been issued. He urged the public to walk or bike to the Street Faire and <br />enjoy the evening downtown without impacting the residential neighborhoods. He <br />advised the public, if they have to drive to the Street Faire, make sure they park in the <br />appropriate spots. <br />He announced the McCaslin Underpass Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is Friday, July 25 at <br />11:00 a.m. <br />
