Preparation for Council Study Session, Tuesday, May 27, time tba —the Board <br />viewed and commented on Mark's powerpoint presentation. A few <br />corrections /suggestions were made; presentation is ready for study session. Dean will <br />print handouts of the Xeric garden design drawing to distribute to Council members. <br />VII. Arbor Day 2014 review —Chris and Gina gave a talk and tree planting instruction to <br />two classes at Fireside Elementary. The weather was excellent, and the classes were <br />very polite and attentive. Several City Council members attended, and a reporter for <br />the Hometown Weekly did interviews, made notes, and took photographs. <br />VIII. Xeric Demonstration Garden design discussion —Per Dean, funding for garden <br />improvements may be delayed due to flood - related expenses for other projects. <br />Discussion of design will continue at future meetings. <br />IX.
