APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Sisk called for any changes to the Agenda.

NONE

Lathrop moved that Council approve the Agenda. Seconded by Mayer. All in favor with Davidson
being absent.

PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA

NONE

COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS
NOT ON THE AGENDA

Lathrop reported how positive the comments were for the Labor Day weekend. Large crowds of
people and beautiful weather made for a very successful long-weekend celebration.

Sisk commended Elle Cabbage for organizing the very successful and well planned Labor Day
weekend events and all of the volunteers who worked so hard. He also reported that he had attended
a School Board meeting last Wednesday night. The School District has scheduled a meeting on
Monday, September 23, for setting up the districts and redistricting. There will be a meeting for
Principal's input on Thursday, September 19, 7:00 p.m. at Fireside Elementary.

REGULAR BUSINESS

APPROVAL OF CITY OF LOUISVILLE WATER CONSERVATION PLAN

Tom Phare, Public Works Director, pointed out the two changes: at the top of page five, the words
"strongly encourage" replaced the word "require", and top of page 7, the strike-out area.

Sisk called for public comments.

Mona Newton, 708 Grant, Louisville, Colorado, representing herself and the Louisville Resource
Conservation Advisory Board, was concerned about the softening of the language on page five with
the replacement words "strongly encourage". She wanted stronger language than that, not just
guidelines. She wanted the guidelines to incorporate the xeriscape landscaping technique. She felt
there was too much lawn in the current commercial areas, with terrible noise and pollution from
mowmg.

Sisk called for Council comments.

2
