Motion passes 5:0. <br /> <br /> <br />G.Resolution No. 37, Series 1999, a Resolution approving and adopting an <br />Amendment to the Comprehensive Development Plan of the City of Louisville, to <br />amend the City’s Urban Growth Boundary. <br /> <br />Staff Public Notice Certification: <br /> <br />Kenneth Johnstone, Principal Planner, certified that public notice was published in the Daily <br />Camera, Saturday, July 24,1999, the Louisville Times, July 28, 1999, and posted in City Hall, July <br />23, 1999. <br /> <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br /> <br />Ken Johnstone stated the details of this matter as stated in the Staff report. <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br />Chairman Boulet asked how this will change anything within the City of Louisville’s planning <br />area. <br /> <br />Johnstone stated that it will reduce the size of the area, there is not actual square footage or <br />acreage figures. Louisville previously extended in planning area much further to the South which <br />is currently Broomfield now, as well as into Superior as part of the urban service area. That <br />would be eliminated. There are also some parts of Lafayette that would be eliminated. <br /> <br />Boulet asked if there are any current areas of planning that would be eliminated. <br /> <br />Johnstone stated there are none at this time. <br /> <br />Members of Public: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Public Hearing Closed/Commission Comments/Vote: <br /> <br />Commissioner Klahn does not see any disadvantages to this proposal and thinks it’s a good idea. <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />
