He requested public notice verification. Public Notice Verification: Johnstone reported that new notification was not required, however it was reposted in City Hall noting the meeting this evening. Conflict of Interest and Disclosure: Lipton asked Commission if they had any conflict of interest or disclosures. None heard. Staff Report of Facts and Issues: Lipton stated that he had discussed and requested with Paul Wood, Planning Director, that the main topic of discussion for the evening would focus on the traffic concerns/issues that had previously been identified by the Commission. He stated that he had asked to have the traffic consultants representing STK and the City to be present this evening. He had also requested that Bill Dhieux, Fire Marshall, attend the meeting. Lipton reviewed his request that had emailed to the Commission members requesting they come prepared to discuss or outline what they believe to be the key issues. The intent of the discussion is to provide staff and the applicant direction for specific modifications to the plans. Lipton also stated that the Commission should be prepared to discuss the possibility of an overflow meeting in December. McAvinew asked if anything had been approved for housing. Lipton indicated that no direction had been given for the housing. McDermott expressed that he really wants to get to the core issues this evening. Lipton called for a Staff report. Johnstone stated that the applicant’s traffic consultant, SEH, is present, as well as the City’s consultant, Carter & Burgess. He reminded the Commissioners that a memo from SEH regarding the traffic report for STK had been included in the meeting packet. Staff had no further information. 5
