<br /> <br />Applicant Presentation: <br /> <br />Lipton requested an applicant presentation to specifically address the traffic questions that <br />Commission had addressed with STK during previous meetings. <br /> <br />Nell Schoeler, STK, introduced Janet Hruby of SEH. <br /> <br />Hruby stated that her main purpose for this evening was to answer the questions that the <br />Commission have. She briefly described the multiply studies that had been used by the firm. The <br />mixed-use scenario that is represented on the GDP is considered to be the best use of the land as <br />well as addressing the traffic concerns for the site. <br /> <br />Hruby detailed the following points: <br />th <br /> <br />1.Dillon Rd and 96 Street will need to be 4 lanes, even if STK does not change the STK <br />site. <br /> <br />2.Northwest Parkway will eventually need to be 6 lanes., <br />th <br /> <br />3.88 Street will need to be 4 lanes. <br /> <br />4.Campus Drive also needs improvements. <br /> <br />5.Tape Drive will be widen back into the STK site. <br /> <br />6.Disk Drive access should become a full turning access. <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br />Hruby then stated that she would like to take questions from the Commission. <br /> <br />Lipton requested questions from the Commission to Hruby. <br /> <br />McDermott asked what is consider the most serious or critical of all the traffic issues/concerns. <br /> <br />th <br />Hruby stated that the improvements to 88 Street to make it a viable access to the STK Campus <br />and the Campus Drive improvements. <br /> <br />Lipton asked what does the level of service ā€œDā€ mean. <br /> <br />Hruby stated it means a 50 second delay at traffic lights. <br /> <br />Lipton then asked what would level ā€œCā€ mean. <br /> <br />Hruby stated that it is a 30 second delay. <br /> <br />Lipton continued by asking if SHE had included traffic north of Dillon Road for the study and had <br />any sensitive analysis been done to consider other types of mixed-use. <br /> <br />Kalish questioned if the effects of traffic had been considered with the development that could <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />
