<br />th <br />occur across 96 Street in Broomfield and what problems had been identified with extending <br />Campus Drive to the east. <br /> <br />th <br />Hruby confirmed that the potential development across 96 had been considered. The issues with <br />the extension of Campus Drive include speeding, and the actual extension of Campus Drive does <br />not benefit anyone unless Disk Drive is made a full movement. <br /> <br />Kalish asked if a street could connect to Campus Drive from within STK. <br /> <br />Hruby explained that it had been considered but when STK met with the school it was not a <br />supported improvement. <br /> <br />Commission Scott Robson was interested if they had looked at a mixed use with a different mix of <br />residential, such as switching single-family to multi-family. <br /> <br />Hruby stated that a different mix of residential does not change the traffic numbers significantly. <br /> <br />Hruby then distributed a new summary information sheet to Staff and Commission members. <br /> <br />Lipton asked if senior housing has a different peak traffic pattern. <br /> <br />Hruby that the industry does not have a set standard for senior housing traffic but it is estimated <br />to be about ½ of other standards. <br /> <br />Robson asked about the transit plan for the area. <br /> <br />Hruby confirmed that the site had been designed to incorporate the transit elements to encourage <br />the use of the transit hub in Broomfield. <br /> <br />McAvinew expressed concern that the total traffic numbers appear to be the same for all <br />scenarios. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Members of the Public: <br /> <br /> <br />Staff Summary and Recommendation: <br /> <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />
