(KK)
Recommend we begin to meet with Boards & Community Groups in Oct -Nov; provide them what we
have so far. (MAH)
Set -up our website to present our info. Post our completed Energy- Efficiency Study online? (MP)
Consensus is yes.
Consider using an info kiosk at the library; consider using the MindMixer program, as has been done
for some city - planning topics. (KK)
Overall Mission Statement: have a sample or start blank? Consensus is to start with a sample. Use
our board's current Vision & Mission statements? (Our Vision: Moving Louisville towards a more
sustainable future. Our Mission: Promoting sustainability through energy efficiency, resource
conservation, and localization to better the environment, social well- being, and economic vitality of
the City of Louisville.)
Add what "sustainability" is: (from Bo -Co's Sustainability Plan: "... sustainability means the use,
development and protection of resources in a way that enables Boulder County residents to meet
their needs and maintain a high quality of life, without compromising the ability of future residents to
do the same, ..."
Suggest we use JVT's 'Sustainability Roadmap' process from her Localization worksheet. Use Bo-
Co's Sustainability Plan as a template. Each of our segments can include Residential,
Commercial /Industrial, & City examples. (MAH)
Add more details to our three study sections: Energy Efficiency, Localization, and Resource
Conservation. Add a 'prescriptive' column to items from Bo -Co's sustainable- action plan.
