They have outgrown their current facility and are considering locations in <br />Broomfield, Longmont and Louisville. The Louisville site at 1900 Cherry is currently <br />under construction. WWF operations would occupy 50,000 sf of the 66,350 sf building. <br />The building is owned by Etkin Johnson and nearly ready for tenant finish. <br />There is potential to bring 45 new jobs to Louisville and a possible expansion to 100 <br />employees in 5 years with wages above the Boulder County average. $3,500,000 is <br />proposed for tenant improvements, which would provide $90,000 in City Permit Fees <br />and Construction Use taxes. $10,000,000 in furniture and equipment investment above <br />the tenant improvements would provide $350,000 in consumer use taxes. The <br />proposed assistance would be as follows: <br />• 50% rebate of City Building Permit Fees = $17,000 value <br />• 50% rebate of Construction Use Taxes = $26,000 value <br />• 50% rebate of Consumer Use Taxes = $150,000 value <br />• Incentives capped at 50% of fees and taxes paid — Total estimated assistance <br />$193,000 <br />Staff recommendation: Approve Resolution No. 51, Series 2014 — A Business <br />Assistance Package with WWF Operating Company. <br />APPLICANT PRESENTATION <br />Adam Glass, Rhino LLC, hired by White Wave thanked the Council for this opportunity <br />and introduced Joseph Sklenar, Vice President and Comptroller of WWF Operating <br />Company. Mr. Sklenar thanked the Council for their consideration of the Business <br />Assistance Package and stated he would be glad to answer any questions. <br />COUNCIL COMMENT <br />Council member Lipton commented WhiteWave is a wonderful company and welcomed <br />them to Louisville. Council member Keany stated this is a great opportunity for the City. <br />Council member Stolzmann felt WhiteWave would be a great fit for the community. <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved to approve Resolution No. 51, Series 2014, <br />seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. Roll call vote was taken. The motion carried by a <br />vote of 7 -0. <br />PUBLIC OUTREACH TASK FORCE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />Acting Deputy City Manager Muth explained the City Council created the Public <br />Outreach Task Force in March. The Task Force has had five meetings. The Public <br />Outreach Task Force was made up of the following Louisville residents: Aquiles <br />
