All were in favor. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />No Council comments. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported the City is currently accepting applications for Boards <br />and Commissions. Applications are available on the City's Web site. The deadline for <br />submission is November 12, 2014. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />LIFE IN LOUISVILLE <br />Mayor Muckle requested a staff presentation. <br />Cultural Arts & Special Events Coordinator Suzanne Janssen shared the results of the <br />2014 Life In Louisville Photo Contest. This is the 7th Annual Photography Contest. The <br />submissions chronicle events and daily life from September 1, 2013 through September <br />5th, 2014 and will be added to the City's archives to serve as a cultural reference for <br />future generations. All images are available for public viewing on the City's website and <br />may be used for publication by the City and /or outside media. <br />The selection panel reviewed the 86 submissions received and separated them into four <br />major categories: Main Street, People, Nature and Places. The top three photographs in <br />each category, and one Grand Prize Winner, were selected. The jury found in each of <br />the winning photos something unique to Louisville and represents the history, <br />
