Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that the extension is for an additional 90 days for review and <br />a public hearing on June 20, 1995. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions, comments, or motions. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 15, Series 1995, extending the time for review <br />of cable rates. Seconded by Sisk. All in favor. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16, SERIES 1995 - APPROVING A FINAL PUD DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN - THORODIN, INC. <br /> <br />Sisk asked to be excused from this matter as his law firm represents Thorodin. <br /> <br />Davidson excused Sisk. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated the applicant is requesting to construct a two phase research <br />and development facility on Lot 1, CTC, which is 1.09 acres. Phase I is proposed as a 6,656 s.f. one <br />story building and is buffered from the street by a 30' to 45' wide landscape setback. Phase II <br />proposes an attached 10,200 s.f. addition to the east. Staff requested that the applicant provide, by <br />a separate instrument, an additional 4' drainage easement be dedicated along the east property line. <br />The Planning Commission approved the request at a public hearing April 13, 1995, with five <br />conditions. All conditions of Planning Commission had been addressed with the exception of the <br />easement issue. Staff asked that a note be added to the PUD stating that building permits should not <br />be issued for office occupancy in excess of the square footage listed in the required parking <br />calculation. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Garth Braun, Garth Braun Associates, 954 Pearl Street, Boulder, Colorado, stated that they hope to <br />break ground on this project on May 15. He reviewed the project. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions, comments, or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve the final PUD Development Plan for Thorodin, Inc., at the CTC <br />and Resolution No. 16, Series 1995, with the two conditions from the Planning Commission and staff <br />Seconded by Howard. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 6 - 0 vote with Sisk being excused. <br /> <br />OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for other business items arising at~er preparation of the Agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
