Griffiths read by title only, Ordinance #1028, "An amendment to the ordinance relating to the operation of the wastewater system of the City of Louisville by regulating use of the wastewater system and regulating the types of waste that may be disposed of therein." Certification of publication and notice of public hearing were established. Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. Mayor Fauson asked for any public comments either in favor of or in opposition to this Ordinance. None. Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called for a motion. Carnival moved to adopt Ordinance #1028, Series 1990, seconded by Hornbostel. By Roll Call Vote, Ordinance #1028, Series 1990 was adopted 5-0. ORDINANCE #1031, SERIES 1990 - VACATING ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY - NORMAN ELMS - 2ND READING - PUBLIC HEARING. Griffiths read by title only, Ordinance #1031, "An Ordinance vacating a portion of an alley located in Corrigan Addition." Certification and notice of public hearing were established. Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. Franklin: Norman Elms has requested that the city vacate a 20 foot wide alley right-of-way located south of his property. The right-of-way is used for city utilities and an easement must be retained. Boulder Valley School District has also requested that the city retain a pedestrian easement from the end of Johnson Avenue to the Louisville Elementary School grounds. This Ordinance was amended to incorporate language that the City Attorney provided. Mayor Fauson asked for any public comments either in favor of or in opposition to this Ordinance. None. Griffiths: The amendment added a new Section 2 which specifically addressed the rights-of-way and the easements.
