TIMES 7/22/95) <br /> <br />Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1997, Series 1995, "An ordinance approving a franchise <br />agreement between the City of Louisville, Colorado, and Scripps Howard Cable Company." <br /> <br />Bill Blankenship, Human l~esources Officer, stated that changes had been made to the agreement <br />fi.om the first reading to the second reading clarifying language and rectifying incorrect information <br />in the original submission. <br /> <br />Gregg Griffin, General Manager for Scripps Howard Cable, was there to answer any questions. <br />Davidson opened the public heating and called for anyone wishing to speak on Ordinance No. 1197. <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public hearing and called for Council questions or comments. <br /> <br />Lathrop asked what the chances of getting the History Channel were. He had several people relate <br />to him that they would like to have the History Channel. <br /> <br />Griffin stated that the History Channel is being strongly considered. Contracts are negotiated at a <br />corporate level, so he was not sure of the status of the History Channel. He stated that hopefully it <br />will be in the next year. <br /> <br />Davidson had also heard from several citizens about the History Channel being added. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
