Davidson moved that Council approve the Consent Agenda as amended. Seconded by Lathrop. All <br />in favor. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Cheryl Alspach, promotional representative for Up With People, invited Council and the citizens of <br />Louisville to their free concert this Sunday at PorterCare Hospital - Avista. It will be the Hospital's <br />100th anniversary. <br /> <br />Katie Reiser, one of 150 cast members from 22 different countries with the Up With People program, <br />invited everyone to come. They were also looking for 15 - 20 more host families. <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson stated that Council had received a letter from Tom Koby, Boulder's Chief of Police, <br />complimenting the Louisville Police Department's Officers Jay Brawner, Richard Anderson, Robert <br />Pride and Sgt. Don Berg, for their assistance in apprehending a felon in a drug/robbery homicide <br />case. Davidson complimented Louisville's Police Department. <br /> <br />Sisk congratulated Elle Cabbage and her many volunteers for their excellent work on the Louisville <br />Fall Festival. Also, he had been contacted by many citizens about care and maintenance of the many <br />trees being planted, particularly with the unusual weather we have been experiencing. It had been <br />suggested that the City have someone on staff with some forestry background to oversee this. <br /> <br />Davidson also complimented Elle Cabbage and her many volunteers. <br /> <br />Lathrop had an out-of-town customer at his business who had commented on how attractive this <br />community is. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1200, SERIES 1995 - AMENDING SECTION 17.12.030 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, <br />STUDIOS FOR PROFESSIONAL WORK OR TEACHING OF FINE ARTS, <br />PHOTOGRAPHY, MUSIC, DRAMA, AND DANCE IN THE COMMERCIAL AND <br />INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS BY SPECIAL REVIEW - 2ND READING - PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
