Griffiths read by title only Ordinance No. 1200, Series 1995, "An ordinance amending Section <br />17.12.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code to allow public and private schools, studios for <br />professional work or teaching of fine arts, photography, music, drama, and dance in the commercial <br />and industrial zoning districts by special review." <br /> <br />Sisk asked to be excused from items 6A (this item) and 6B, as he had a conflict in terms of <br />representation. <br /> <br />Davidson excused Sisk from Agenda items 6A and 6B. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the ordinance was unamended from first reading. He <br />mentioned that the applicant was there to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Davidson opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on this ordinance. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson closed the public heating and called for Council questions or motions. <br /> <br />Keany moved that Council adopt Ordinance No. 1200, Series 1995, an amendment to Section <br />17.12.030 at second and final reading. Seconded by Lathrop. Roll call was taken. Motion passed <br />by a 4 - 0 vote with Sisk being excused and Howard and Levihn being absent. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 45, SERIES 1995 - APPROVING SPECIAL REVIEW USE FOR <br />GANDY DANCER DANCE STUDIO - 405 SO. PIERCE - CTC <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant is negotiating a lease with Wood Technology <br />in the CTC that occupies 6,660 s.f. of their 9,900 s.f. building. Most classes are proposed to be held <br />evenings and Saturdays with some weekday classes for preschool children. There will be 6 - 10 <br />students per class. The resolution had three conditions of approval. <br /> <br />Davidson called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Anita Gandy, 209 Springs Drive, Louisville, Colorado, stated that they hoped to provide classes for <br />as many of the performing arts as possible. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Resolution No. 45, Series 1995, Special Review Use for the <br />Gandy Dancer Dance Studio, including the three conditions made by the Planning Commission. <br />Seconded by Keany. All in favor with Sisk being excused and Howard and Levihn being absent. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that Councilman Howard had arrived at the Council meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
