CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />AUGUST 2, 1989 <br />REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the <br />Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Fauson <br />called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were <br />present: <br />Councilmembers: Randy Carnival, Alan Scarpella, Steve Anderson <br /> Dennis Ferrera, and John Sackett. <br />Staff Present: David Stahl, City Administrator <br /> Steve Williamson, City ATtorney <br /> Nelda Mohr, Director of Library Services <br /> Steve Baysinger, Director of Community Services <br /> John Franklin, Dir. of Community Development <br /> Tom Phare, Director of Public Works <br />Also Present: Pam Ferris, City Clerk <br />Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Mohr <br /> Wm. Hesson, Treasurer <br /> Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br /> Sharon Asti-Caranci, Dir. of Financial Services <br />APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Agenda. <br /> Stahl stated that items 4B and 4C would not need <br /> to be discussed as there would be a quorum for the <br /> August 15th meeting. Mayor Fauson moved that <br /> these two items be withdrawn from the Agenda and <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT Anderson seconded. Motion carried. <br />CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent <br /> Calendar. Anderson and Sackett asked to abstain <br /> from voting on 3B due to possible conflict of <br /> interest regarding the Golf Course Maintenance <br /> Building. Mayor Fauson moved that the Consent <br /> Calendar be approved as submitted with Anderson <br /> and Sackett abstaining from approval on 3B. <br /> Motion carried. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Bills <br /> Approval of Change Order #2 - Maintenance Building <br /> At Golf Course <br /> Approval of Taste of Louisville Event <br />REGULAR BUSINESS: <br />AWARD DESIGN BUILD - RECREATION <br />CENTER Stahl and Marschner detailed the selection process <br />used to measure and test for suitability of <br />interested design builders submitting proposals <br />for the recreation center. <br />
