Sisk was concerned about the hazardous access. <br /> <br />Levihn encouraged berming. He was concerned that there was not enough parking. <br /> <br />Mayer was concerned about the access. <br /> <br />Keany suggested a couple of boulders be placed to protect the playground from cars. <br />Lathrop felt that Century Drive going through to Centennial would be the solution to the u-turn, as <br />far as access. <br /> <br />Howard wanted to make sure the fencing could withstand the 70+ m.p.h, seasonal winds. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that condition No. 1 should read "The landscape easement will be vacated at the <br />corner of McCaslin Boulevard and Centennial Parkway prior to issuance of the C.O." <br /> <br />Wood stated that there isn't anything on the elevations that would be a basis to approve wallpacks. <br />He wanted to see a number and location of the lights, because they are in proximity to residential. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that since wallpacks are not shown on the PUD, they are not allowed. <br /> <br />Sisk wanted this worked out by staff <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 55, Series 1995, as amended: that the lighting <br />be worked out by staff, there be 25' setbacks, 3.5' irrigated and landscaped berms, boulders on the <br />northeast comer, and that condition No. 1 read "The landscape easement will be vacated at the corner <br />of McCaslin Boulevard and Centennial Parkway prior to issuance of C.O." Seconded by Sisk. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that if there is a problem with u-tums, a "No U-turn" sign will be installed. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a 7 - 0 vote. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 56, SERIES 1995 - MEADOWS AT COAL CREEK, HOLD ON <br />BUILDING PERMITS <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this resolution is based upon failure to cap the gas well in <br />Phase III. It seeks Council's direction/approval to limit the issuance of building permits and C.O.s <br />within the subdivision. <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that before Council was a corrected Resolution No. 56, <br />differing from the original resolution by the elimination of what was 4a. and 4b. is now paragraph 4. <br />It is the portion of the resolution directing city staff to withhold issuance of any additional building <br />permits and certificates of occupancy at such time as applicable notice requirement~ are met.
