City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 28, 2015 <br />Page 3 of 28 <br />contribute to the historical character of "Old Town. I love knowing that the house we <br />now live in has been part of Louisville for over 100 years and has played a part in <br />contributing to the historical "feel" of the community ?' <br />Staff Recommendation: Staff believes the structure has maintained significant <br />architectural integrity since and has a significant social history. Staff recommends the <br />house be named for the Vaughn family who owned the house for over 70 years. Staff <br />recommended City Council approval of Resolution No. 49, Series 2015 designating the <br />structure at 701 Lincoln Avenue (Vaughn House) a historic landmark. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Council member Loo noted the applicant mentioned he may want to add a garage at a <br />later time. She asked staff if the applicant is aware of the required process for such an <br />addition. Planner I Trice confirmed the applicant is aware of the required process. <br />MOTION: Council member Lipton moved to approve Resolution No. 49, Series 2016, <br />seconded by Mayor Muckle. All were in favor. Absent: Council member Keany. <br />MCCASLIN MARKETPLACE — 994 W. DILLON ROAD <br />1. ORDINANCE No 1696, SERIES 2015 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN <br />AMENDMENT TO THE CENTENNIAL VALLEY GENERAL DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN TO INCREASE THE RETAIL SQUARE FOOTAGE ALLOWED UNDER <br />THE PLAN BY 7,259 SQUARE FEET AND AMEND CERTAIN USE <br />RESTRICTIONS AFFECTING A PORTION OF PARCEL H - 2nd Reading <br />Public Hearing <br />2. RESOLUTION No. 46, SERIES 2015, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 9T" <br />AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDED AND RESTATED DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT FOR CENTENNIAL VALLEY <br />3. RESOLUTION No. 47, SERIES 2015 — A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />AMENDMENT FOR A NEW 12,772 SQUARE FOOT, SINGLE STORY <br />BUILDING WITH RETAIL AND RESTAURANT SPACE AT 994 W. DILLON <br />ROAD <br />Mayor Muckle requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1696, Series 2015 and reviewed the <br />accompanying action documents. He stated all three items could be included in staff's <br />presentation and the public may comment on any of the three agenda items. <br />Mayor Muckle opened the public hearing and requested a staff presentation. <br />
