Mayer:

Phare:

Davidson:

design in finalizing routes and
looking at the specific costs. I've
asked them, given the current level
of participants that have committed,
Berthoud - 4 c.f.s., Broomfield -
12.4 c.f.s., Ft. Lupton - 6 c.f.s.,
Ft. Morgan - 5.6 c.f.s., Hudson - .8
c.f.s., Louisville - 3 c.f.s.,
Public Service - 13.5 c.f.s.,
Superior Metropolitan District - 4.8
c.f.s., Weld/Thompson District - 25
c.f.s., for a total of 75.1 c.f.s.
They've provided a new cost estimate
that showed that our 3 c.f.s, would
be $3.35 million for the District
pipeline and connecting pipeline. I
also took the same level of
participants by all others and upped
ours to 4 c.f.s., our cost would go
to $4.29, essentially $4.3 million
to go up to 4 c.f.s. They are
receptive to increments in between
those two.

It seems that the acquisition of
both the pipeline capacity of
Superior, as well as the amount of
Windy Gap water they've acquired,
seems to be in excess of their
requirements. Is there a
possibility that we could have an
agreement with Superior of instead
of us increasing our capacity in the
pipeline, absorbing some of their
excess capacity?

I could talk to them about that. I
don't see us getting a formal
binding agreement together before
our option to increase with the
District at a known cost expires.

If we don't decide to go to
additional capacity, do you know how
much water there is in this basin.
Do you know how much water there is
in this basin? If there is not
enough left to do the remaining
water needed, what's their other
alternative? Where else do you go
to get water, besides Marshall Lake
and Northern Colorado?
