Draft for April 22, 2008 City Council Study Session <br />section shall be punished for each violation as provided in section 1.28.010. Each <br />act or omission in violation of this section shall be deemed a separate violation <br />and for each calendar day during which any violation continues, a separate <br />violation shall be deemed to have bee-n committed. <br />Section 3. Section 10.20.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code, entitled "Prohibited <br />uses," is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be added are underlined; words to be <br />deleted are ~+ri°'~°r +~r°~~~-'~): <br />Sec. 10.20.050. Prohibited uses. <br />No bn^.T-tmi~e~ce~c-l~-~''°,,,°, °'~-~r°"°"°'' ^+^"''^,,,°,trailer or <br />recreational vehicle, each as defined in section 17.20.165 of this code, or a~ <br />recreational equipment of any kind, shall be used for living, sleeping, or residing <br />on any street or public right-of--way within the city. The foregoing prohibition <br />shall not apply to sleep~~within a recreational vehicle for no more than five <br />nights within any six-month period, provided such activity otherwise complies <br />will all other provisions of this code. <br />Section 4. Section 17.16.180 of the Louisville Municipal Code, entitled "Temporary <br />uses," is hereby amended by the addition of a new subsection A.6 to read as follows (words to be <br />added are underlined): <br />Sec. 17.16.180. Temporary uses. <br />A. Permitted uses. The following uses of land are permitted in the designated <br />zone districts subject to the applicable regulations of the district in which the <br />use is located, and subject to the following regulations: <br />6. Dumpsters, roll-offs and portable stora eg units: <br />a. Definitions: A "dumpster" means a metal container of one cubic <br />or more in size located outside and used to store refuse, ag rbage, trash, <br />rubbish, yard waste, construction waste or similar materials. A <br />`portable storage container" means any container, pod, or unit rented <br />or owned by the owner or occupant of the property that is designed to <br />hold household items and to be transported to and stored by a private <br />moving or storage company at a centralized storage warehouse or <br />facility. A "roll-off' means any container, neither permanently <br />attached to motor vehicle nor designed to be drawn behind a motor <br />vehicle, having a capacil;_y volume ~of at least ten cubic yards located <br />4 <br />
