Davidson: <br /> <br />I was contacted by John Sackett, who <br />said he had some concerns that we <br />weren't spending adequate money to <br />maintain the green fees. I brought <br />it up at the Finance Committee <br />meeting and Annette (Brand) was <br />going to go back and find the data. <br />If we are spending adequate money, <br />that's all I needed to know. I <br />don't need a report. <br /> <br />Mayer: <br /> <br />If this is a budget item that would <br />affect the Golf Course budget, have <br />the Golf Course folks come with a <br />proposal for resident reservations? <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that other <br />than what had been discussed, nothing else had been decided. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE WITH AMENDMENT 1 <br /> <br />Sharon Asti-Caranci, Finance Director, stated that the city is in <br />compliance with Amendment 1. She explained the city's budget is <br />down in the Amendment l's point of view, 13+%. <br /> <br />Davidson: <br /> <br />So, we are not only complying with <br />Amendment 1, we're actually beating <br />its criteria. <br /> <br />Asti-Caranci agreed. She took the same estimated 1993 figures of <br />what the city expects to do this year, $15,911,000, together with <br />the current budget projected for 1994, $14,306,000, the city is <br />going down 10.09%. She stated that the budget is decreasing <br />according to Amendment 1. <br /> <br />Davidson: <br /> <br />So, we are under Amendment <br />limitations by more than 22%. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Asti-Caranci agreed. <br /> <br />Davidson called for any further comments. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />SALARY INCREASES <br /> <br />Bill Blankenship, Human Resources Officer, gave Council a report on <br />the salary and cost of living increases in communities in the <br />surrounding areas. <br /> <br />Hornbostel: <br /> <br />(INAUDIBLE) <br /> <br /> <br />
