Library Board of Trustees <br />Meeting Minutes —DRAFT <br />January 14, 2016 <br />Page 2 of 5 <br />VI. Approval of Minutes <br />Minutes from the 12 November 2015 meeting were approved as written. <br />VII. Public Comments <br />New City Council Liaison Ashley Stolzmann noted that she would like to include a brief <br />overview highlighting upcoming City Council matters as a regular part of the meeting. It was <br />noted by the group that this had become the practice but that inclusion on this meeting's <br />agenda had been overlooked. Ashley noted the following might be of particular interest to <br />the Library and Library Board. <br />1) January 19, 2016 <br />• the County Road bridge construction contract would be presented <br />• proposed construction of a chain link fence along both sides of the railroad track <br />to encourage use of the proposed underpass <br />2) January 26, 2016 <br />• Goal - setting retreat for City Council <br />3) February 2, 2016 <br />• Small Area Plan, particularly discussions related to connecting Steel Ranch and <br />North End to the Mesa trail system <br />4) February 9 <br />• Arts Master Plan <br />VIII. Trustee Informational Comments on Pertinent Items Not on the Agenda <br />In her capacity as a Superior Town Trustee, Debra Williams noted the following updated: <br />• Diverging Diamond Interchange is now complete. There may be some short closures to <br />accommodate landscaping work. <br />• Louisville /Superior water interconnect now under construction. This will be used for <br />emergency purposes only and will facilitate raw water from Superior being treated in <br />Louisville. <br />• Public art for underpasses has been decided and will comprise light exhibits. <br />• The Town Center project will undergo another iteration starting in February. This will <br />include the community space and possible library-type component. <br />• Superior and Louisville will participate in a joint issues committee on January 20, 2016. <br />IX. New Business <br />A. Designate <br />1) 2016 Locations to Post Notices of Public Meetings <br />The City Manager's Office provided an approved list of locations to post notices, <br />in accordance with the City's Home Rule Charter. The Board unanimously agreed <br />to continue to post meeting notices as follows: <br />• The Louisville City Hall lobby (749 Main Street) <br />• The Louisville Public Library public bulletin board (951 Spruce Street) <br />• The Louisville Recreation Et Senior Center (900 West Via Appia) <br />• The Louisville Police Department Et Municipal Court Building (992 Via Appia) <br />• The City of Louisville Website <br />
