Open Space Advisory Board
Minutes
Apri19, 2008
Publication on Open Space
Aaron suggested that we should distribute it as a supplement to the Rec
Center catalog. Tom would like the publication available on the city website.
Ember suggested a calendar of photos from a contest open to the public. This
would include a description of the open space displayed and how it came to be
designated. Ember will look into cost estimates and a newspaper version of a
general publication. Truman wants OSAB to suggest content and format, but not
get involved in the details. He also suggested an open space photo of the week
that could put in the local newspaper even if we had to buy ad space to do so.
Bret questioned the purpose of the publication and agreed that the Rec Center
catalog would reach the most residents. Ember noted that the city website
design is being updated. Tom asked that OSAB have some input regarding the
pages regarding Open Space. Tom suggested that when Boulder County does
their Open Space publication again that we try to get pages specific to Louisville
added.
Multi Agency OSAB Meeting
Ember will look into Broomfield OSB within our regular meeting time.
Adjourn -Truman moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:OOpm. Linda seconded,
and the motion passed unanimously.
Discussion Items for Next Meeting
1. Takoda connectivity along ditch across 42
2. Create OS zoning
3. Third land designation
4. Trails Open House
