Publication and notice of public hearing were <br />established. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Wanush stated that the owners of a .175 acre parcel <br />located on Spruce Lane requested annexation and RR <br />zoning. The applic<~nt, Spruce Street Joseph, Ltd. <br />wishes to correct the legal description of the <br />Joseph-Prouty-Fiechi:l annexation (known as the <br />Spruce Lane parcel) by adding this small strip of <br />land which was inadvertently omitted from the prior <br />annexation. Planning Commission reviewed the <br />annexation request and determined that it met all <br />municipal and state criteria regarding annexation. <br />They recommended apX>roval without conditions. <br />Mayor Fauson asked i:or any public comments either in <br />favor of or in oppo:>ition to Ordinance #944. None. <br />Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br />for a motion. <br />Mohr moved that Ordinance #944 be adopted. Anderson <br />seconded. By Roll Call Vote Ordinance #944 was <br />adopted unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE #945 - SPRUCE STREET LTD AND JAMES LEACH ZONING - <br />PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #945, "An <br />Ordinance amending Z'itle 17 of the Louisville Muni- <br />cipal Code entitled "Zoning" by zoning property <br />owned by Spruce StrE:et Joseph LTD and James Leach." <br />Publication and notice of public hearing were estab- <br />lished. <br />Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing. <br />Wanush asked that his comments during the previous <br />Agenda item concerning the annexation of the <br />property be accepted at part of the record for this <br />zoning ordinance. The zoning request is for R-R <br />(Rural-Residential) which is consistent with the <br />neighboring parcel's designation. The square <br />footage of this request has already been calculated <br />in lot sizes for the Spruce Lane Subdivision and <br />Planning Commission reviewed the proposed zoning and <br />determined that it was appropriate. <br />Mayor Fauson called for any comments either in favor <br />of or in opposition to Ordinance #945.
