Approval of Payment - Water Attorney <br />Professional Services <br />PROCLAMATION - HISTORICAL <br />MONTH Mayor Fauson declared the month of March as <br />Louisville Historical Month and presented Virginia <br />Caranci, Chairperson of the Historical Commission, <br />with a Proclamation. Caranci thanked Council and <br />invited the public to view artifacts that will be <br />on display in City Hall beginning next week. A <br />presentation will be given at Council's next <br />meeting to update Council on the Commission's <br />activities. <br />PROCLAMATION - NATIONAL <br />TEACHER DAY Mayor Fauson declared the 4th of March, 1986, as <br />National Teacher Day within the City of Louisville <br />and presented the staff and students of <br />Louisville's schools with a Proclamation. <br />Anderson outlined the events of the day. Several <br />teachers, principals and students spoke to Council <br />and the community regarding a united effort in <br />offering Louisville's students an excellent <br />education provided f`or by the best in the teaching <br />profession. <br />PRESENTATION - BAHA'I CHURCH <br />OF LOUISVILLE Marty McCloskey, Chairman of the Local Assembly of <br />the Baha'i of Louisville, addressed Council <br />regarding World Peace. A bound copy of the <br />message entitled "The Promise of World Peace" <br />issued by the Universal House of Justice, the <br />International Governing Body of the Baha'i Faith, <br />was given to members of Council.
