FOR ADDITIONAL <br /> CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS TO THE LIBRARY EXPANSION PROJECT <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO PROCURE BIDS FOR DAVIDSON MESA TRAIL PROJECT <br /> PARK PLAYGROUNDS - BID AWARDS <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS - ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Davidson called for public comments on items not on the Agenda. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS <br /> NOT ON THE AGENDA <br /> <br />Lathrop, noting that this was the City Administrator's last City <br />Council meeting, thanked Annette Brand, City Administrator, for all <br />of her work with him on putting the Warembourg property acquisition <br />together. He felt it was her expertise and ability to communicate <br />with people like the Warembourgs that the they were able to develop <br />the agreement. He spoke of his appreciation of her friendship and <br />the good work she had done. <br /> <br />Sisk seconded Lathrop's statements, saying she is a "class act." <br />Also, he wanted a letter sent to the Postal authorities to <br />encourage them to keep the Post Office in downtown Louisville. <br /> <br />Davidson suggested Council pass a Resolution at the next Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Davidson agreed with Lathrop's comments. He stated that she had <br />arrived at a very difficult time in Louisville and successfully <br />guided the City's staff with "flying colors." <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION - NELDA MOHR, DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />Davidson read and presented the Certificate of Appreciation to <br />Nelda Mohr, Director of Library Services. <br /> <br />Mohr stated that it had been quite an adventure: <br /> <br />The size of Louisville had doubled since she has been <br />here. <br /> <br /> <br />
