COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

Keany had heard from concemed citizens about the weed ordinance allowing neighborhoods to allow
their weeds to grow to 12". He wondered if the ordinance should be modified or should they pass
a separate ordinance that addressed residential areas concerning weed and grass mowing heights.

Lathrop had received many of the same comments. He felt Council needed to review that ordinance.

Keany had received calls about the Middle School park concerning putting in a sidewalk along
Griffith and Harper around the park. The School District is putting in a sidewalk along Jefferson.
He had asked the acting City Administrator to look into that.

Mayer stated that the Metro-Mayor's Conference would be this Friday meeting with Governor Romer
on any issues of concern.

Howard wanted to know if the Governor could do anything about the limitations on the interchange.
He received an invitation to attend the Senior's Advisory Board, but didn't receive his invitation until
today.

ADJOURNMENT

Sisk moved that Council adjourn (9:09 p.m.). Seconded by Mayer. All in favor.

ATTEST:

per, Cit/y Clerk//'

Tom Davidson, Mayor

10
