Howard opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on Resolution No. 41. <br />NONE <br /> <br />Howard closed the public hearing and called for Council questions, comments, or motions. <br /> <br />Mayer moved that Council approve Resolution No. 41, Final Subdivision Replat for the Tesone <br />Subdivision. Seconded by Sisk. Roll call was taken. Motion passed by a vote of 6 - 0 with Davidson <br />being absent. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/DIRECTION - PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT AND PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN, EXTENSION OF A TEMPORARY USE PERMIT <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that this is a request to plat a three acre parcel, located just <br />north of the Coal Train Square Subdivision, at the northwest corner of the intersection of Hwy. 42 <br />and South Boulder Road. It is a two phase PUD. Phase I provides for the addition of two small <br />peaked roof greenhouses with a small receiving and service area. Phase II proposes to add a third <br />attached greenhouse and an outside display area for seasonal sales. The applicant anticipates <br />completion of phase two in three years. The applicant was requesting an extension of the expiration <br />date on his temporary use permit, which expires September 30, 1994, to allow the sale of garden <br />material on site up through completion of the permanent structures. <br /> <br />Howard called for the applicant's presentation. <br /> <br />Jim Hillhouse, Architect, 11005 South Boulder Road, Lafayette, Colorado 80026, representing Scott <br />& Lynn Sorensen, stated that the 12% land dedication would be on the north side of the property. <br />He reviewed drawings. <br /> <br />Howard opened the public hearing calling for anyone wishing to speak on this item. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Howard closed the public hearing and called for Council comments and questions. <br /> <br />Sisk and Lathrop complimented the Sorenson's and were in favor of the extension of the expiration <br />date of the Temporary Use Permit. <br /> <br />Mayer wanted the parking to be adequate without being overly burdensome. He was concerned <br />about the current ingress/egress to the property. He wondered if odoriferous materials would be <br />stored on the site. <br /> <br />Hillhouse stated that there would be no cow or sheep manure, etc. other than in bagged materials. <br />He stated that the first phase would be completed by spring of next year. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />
