The City will <br />partner with the County and area communities on some of the regional <br />trail connections. <br />Project revenue or grants, if any, the will support the project <br />and the impacts to the operating budget: <br />Cost allocation is based upon the ratio shown above. GOCO. DRCOG <br />and possibly other grants are available may be investigated further to <br />help leverage City funding. <br />Justification: <br />Why is this equipment or project needed? <br />Additional trail connections are intended to fill gaps in the trail network to make the trail system more user friendly and efficient. <br />How does this project promote Program Goals? <br />Meetings City Councils goals of providing a variety of healthy outdoor activities for the community <br />What impact will this project have on the Key Indicators for this Program or Sub -Program? <br />Improves deficiencies in the trail net work <br />What is the return on investment or cost/benefit for this project? <br />Promotes a healthy lifestyle and cleaner environment for the community. <br />What alternatives to this project have been considered? <br />If new trail connections are not constructed the City's trail network will not be as convenient for users. <br />6 <br />19 <br />
