APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION. <br /> <br />Susan C_n'iffiths, City Attorney, stated that in the absence of the rezoning of the property, it was her <br />understanding that neither the Subdivision Plat or the Preliminary PUD Development Plan could be <br />considered, because it would be inconsistent with current zoning. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION/UPDATE - STATUS OF COMPLIANCE OF EXPLOSIVE FABRICATORS, <br />INC. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that this item would be continued to the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 62, SERIES 1994 - APPROVING A SUBDIVISION DIRECTIONAL <br />SIGN FOR THE WANEKA LANDING SUBDMSION <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the applicant was CC & W Investments (Waneka Landing <br />Subdivision - Lafayette). <br /> <br />Davidson stated that due to the late hour and Council already having the information concerning this, <br />he called for a motion. <br /> <br />Sisk moved that Council approve Resolution No. 62, Series 1994, as presented approving a <br />subdivision directional sign for the Waneka Landing Subdivision, as amended. Seconded by Mayer. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br />SPORTS COMPLEX BID - PHASE I - AUTHORIZATION TO NEGOTIATE BID <br /> <br />Steve Baysinger, Parks & Recreation Director, stated that they wished to reject all bids and receive <br />authorization from Council to negotiate with the two lowest bidders, as the bids were over budget <br />(SEE ATTACH]ED). <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council reject all bids because the bids are too high for the project budget and <br />authorized staff to negotiate with the two low bidders minus all earth work, authorize Mayor <br />Davidson to sign the negotiated bids, so long as that bid does not exceed the lowest responsible bid <br />previously received, and to authorize staff to continue negotiating with Lafayette. Seconded by <br />Mayer.
