She stated that our citizens did <br />an outstanding job as Judges and the City of Louisville had an <br />excellent turn out for the election. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION - 1991/1992 CENTAURUS STATE WRESTLING TEAM CHAMPIONS <br /> <br />Davidson read and presented the Proclamation to the 1991/1992 <br />Centaurus State Wrestling Team Champions. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS 20 - 25, SERIES 1992 - IN RECOGNITION OF SERVICE <br /> <br />Davidson read and presented Resolutions to: <br /> <br />Mary O'Brien, Arts & Humanities Commission <br />Lani Melvin, Tree Board <br />Neal Griggsmiller, Tree Board <br />Rick Schenderlein, Tree Board <br />Jonathan Cawley, Tree Board <br />Frank Burger, Tree board <br /> <br />APPROVE APPLICATION FOR NEW 3.2% RETAIL LIQUOR LICENSE - KING <br />SOOPERS <br /> <br />Davidson opened the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that the City of Louisville <br />is acting as the local licensing authority under State law. The <br />Council's decision to grant or deny the application must be based <br />on the evidence presented to Council at the hearing tonight and the <br />legal requirements set out in State laws. Under State law the <br />license can be granted to Dillon Companies only if the following <br />requirements are met: one, the company is incorporated under the <br />laws of the State of Colorado or is duly qualified to do business <br />in the State of Colorado; two, the officers, directors and stock <br />holders of the company who hold over 2% of the outstanding stock, <br />must be of good moral character and reputation; three, the <br />reasonable requirements of the neighborhood and the desires of the <br />adult inhabitants, as evidenced by petitions, remonstrances, or <br />otherwise, must be considered.
