publication dates, be part of the record of this hearing. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that this Pubic Hearing was on the application of <br />the Dillion Companies, Inc., dba King Soopers #13, for a Retail <br />3.2% Beer License, which permits the sale of fermented beverages in <br />a sealed container for off premises consumption only. The premises <br />to be licensed is located at Louisville Plaza, Lot 2, NE corner of <br />South Boulder Road and Hwy. 42. The Liquor Licensing Authority, <br />which is the City Council, must set the boundaries for the <br />neighborhood for the License. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that the boundaries of the neighborhood be the <br />current boundaries of the City of Louisville. Seconded by <br />Hornbostel. All in favor. <br /> <br />Davidson asked the audience for any objections to the boundaries. <br /> <br />NONE <br /> <br />Davidson asked for comments from the audience. <br /> <br />Elizabeth A. Weishaupl, Attorney for King Soopers, explained she <br />was there to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Gary Prickett, District Manager for King Soopers, <br />questions from Ms. Weishaupl concerning his (King <br />responsibilities for any liquor infractions and the <br />training of store personnel. <br /> <br />answered <br />Soopers) <br /> related <br /> <br />Howard: <br /> <br />How are the employees held <br />personally responsible for any <br />liquor infractions? <br /> <br />Prickett: <br /> <br />If a violation occurs, the employee <br />is issued a summons along with the <br />store and they would go to court. <br />King Soopers would not provide <br />council for them, because it was of <br />their own doing. <br /> <br />Weishaupl: <br /> <br />It is King Soopers' policy that <br />because most of our employees are <br />long term employees, we don't punish <br />these employees by firing them on <br />the spot. We try to work with them. <br />Generally, they are given a period <br />of suspension, but that's to <br />reinforce the importance of <br />compliance with the liquor laws. <br /> <br />Sisk: <br /> <br />What kind of training programs do <br />you give to your cashiers to <br /> <br /> <br />
