Cudl ip:

center would be economically
feasible, do you have an opinion as
to whether there's a need for a new
retail liquor store at this center?

I believe there is.

Davidson asked if anyone in the audience had any questions for Mr.
Cudlip.

Doug Harper, 825 Cleveland Court, Louisville, CO, owner of Union
Jack Liquor.

Harper:

Cudlip:

Mr. Cudlip, you said that the liquor
store needs to be "nearby". How
close is "nearby"?

Right within the center. Mr.
Harper, you were one of the first
people that we approached to lease
the liquor store.

Harper:

I didn't ask that. How close?

Cudlip:

Convenient walking distance from the
parking area of the center.

Harper:
Cudlip:

Is 298 yards close enough?

I don't believe so. People would
have to cross South Boulder Road and
Hwy. 42 with their groceries and
other purchases.

Harper:

How many liquor stores are there
within a two mile radius of the
center.

Cudlip:

I have not taken a count.

Harper:

There's ten. In Boulder there is
one person for every 1/2 sq. ft. of
liquor store. If this is approved
there will be one person for every
1.42 sq. ft. of liquor store within
the City of Louisville proper.

Alan Fyne, 624 W. Hickory Court, Louisville, CO, owner of Bungalow
Liquors.

Fyne:

Mr. Cudlip, is there any law which
says that there has to be a liquor

10
