Mr. Jagerson noted the servers will have special beer service training but expressed interest in also sending his staff to training. He noted he and his wife have had training in alcohol service to serve at various community games and events. Authority Attorney Culley asked about the two addresses noted on the lease. Mr. Jagerson said there were two spots in the building they will occupy and those units were separately addressed at first, but now only under the 1071 Hwy. 42 address. Mr. Jagerson noted there will be someone observing the patio when it is open and occupied. He reported the establishment hours would likely be 11 am to 11 pm on weekdays and until midnight on weekends. He remarked despite the "Growler" name, there will be no "to go" service of alcohol since state law does not allow it. Lipton asked for any member of the audience who wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the application. Hearing none, she asked for the applicant's closing remarks. Carlson moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the applicant is of good moral character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood, all City and State law requirements have been met and, based on these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a hotel and restaurant liquor license for Craft Beers R Us doing business as Growler USA. Discussion/Direction/Action — Order to Show Cause — Waterloo Icehouse Inc. d/b/a Waterloo Icehouse — 809 Main Street Authority Attorney Culley noted a prosecutor had been appointed and is working with the owner, but no conclusion could be reached for this meeting. The show cause hearing will remain scheduled for January.
