Renewal Application — La Revolucion LLC d/b/a La Revolucion — <br />Tavern Liquor License — 701 Main Street <br />Lipton called the item. Machado recused himself as he employs the owner to <br />watch his children occasionally; he left the room. <br />Authority Attorney Culley noted the Louisville Municipal Court has found the <br />licensee to be in arrears with City sales tax. The Authority could suspend or <br />choose to not renew for failure to pay sales tax. An update could be provided in <br />January after the court case is scheduled. <br />Authority members discussed the situation. Watson moved the Authority wait <br />until January and discuss this renewal at that time. Lipton seconded. All in <br />favor. Absent: Tennessen and Hervey. <br />D. Conversation with Chief Hayes <br />Chief Hayes updated the Authority on the following: <br />- State Marijuana Conference <br />Lack of increase in calls as a result of extended hours for the <br />marijuana businesses <br />Added information to police department reports <br />Officer visits to local liquor licensed establishments <br />- His attendance at each meeting of the Authority <br />Increase in mental health calls <br />DUI stops increasing in Louisville <br />Police Department Reports <br />A. Incident Report — Henry's — 11/6/16 <br />This incident involved police contact of an apparently intoxicated person in the <br />downtown area. Authority members discussed the incident and the narrative <br />provided by the police department. Authority members decided not to pursue <br />any further action on this incident. <br />Secretary's Report <br />Hanson noted the letters sent to 740 Front and Henry's as a result of review of <br />incidents at the last meeting were included in the packet. <br />The meeting schedule for 2017 Local Licensing Authority meetings was included <br />in the packet. <br />
