that occurs.

Paul Whitehead, 369 South Taft, Louisville, CO.

Whitehead:

I feel that our development and
growth are out of hand. We don't
have a long range view of what we
want to accomplish in Louisville.
The quality of life in Louisville is
slipping rapidly. It's not too late
for us to make a change in direction
or be more creative in our thought
processes. I think that there are
solutions available that we haven't
even tapped yet. I would like to
develop a partnership with the
developers, so that they totally
understand what we truly want and
work together in getting it.

Paul Darby, 102 Vista Lane, Louisville, CO.

Darby:

I have been involved in the planning
process at Fireside Elementary from
the beginning. I don't want the
quality of education for my children
to continue to slip, because of our
inability as a community to plan
adequately for the needs of our
children.

Charles Haseman, 247 South Lark Avenue, Louisville, CO.

Haseman:

I've seen East County grow very
rapidly in the last seven years.
I've noticed that this City seems to
be put together like a patchwork
quilt. The area north of Safeway
seems to have its own identity. The
downtown section has its own
identity. The west side is growing
the most rapidly and now we're
having these little pieces of land
added into the patchwork quilt.
McCaslin Blvd. has seemed to tie
together the west side into somewhat
of a community. Hopefully, the new
Comprehensive Plan will make the
street layouts fit a bit better. My
daughter's kindergarten classroom
this past year was an overflow of
children they put in a science lab

15
