He spoke of the excellent <br />job the City's Finance Director/Department is doing. Davidson <br />presented the award to Sharon Asti-Caranci. <br /> <br />PP~:SENTATION - SUMMER READING PROGRAM AWARD - CAROL PURFURST <br /> <br />Davidson stated that each year the Colorado Library Association, in <br />conjunction with the Econoclad Books, sponsors an award for <br />outstanding summer reading programs. Carol Purfurst, Children's <br />Librarian, received a 2nd Place award for preparing a program with <br />the theme of "Rediscovery - New World" to include the summer <br />O12~pics, vacations, and the Columbus Bi-Centennial. Nearly 700 <br />children from the Louisville area participated. Davidson presented <br />the award to Carol Purfurst. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING - HOTEL & RESTAURANT LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION - <br />KA~NmS IN THE COUNTRY (LOCATION POSTED & PUBLISHED LSVL. TIMES <br />10/21/92) <br /> <br />Davidson opened the Public Hearing for Karen's In The Country for <br />a Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License at 1900 Plaza Drive, <br />Louisville, CO. He stated that the Liquor Licensing Authority, <br />which is the City Council, must set the boundaries of the <br />neighborhood for the licensee. In the past the boundaries have <br />been set as the current boundaries of the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />Davidson moved that the boundaries be so set for this application. <br />Seconded by Hornbostel. <br /> <br />Davidson asked if anyone present objected to the boundaries of the <br />neighborhood being the current boundaries of the City of <br />Louisville. <br /> <br /> <br />
