SURVEY RESULTS <br />The results in this document are arranged in the order they were asked in the survey instrument. <br />Highlighted responses are the rankings checked most often (ignoring "no opinion" responses) for <br />each question. <br />Satisfaction with City of Louisville <br />In the first section of this survey, respondents were asked to rate the City of Louisville's <br />performance in the areas of Administration, Public Works, Public Safety, <br />Planning/Zoning/Building, Parks and Recreation and the Library. <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Administration 1: City response to citizen complaints or concerns. <br />Number Percent <br />Very Poor 12 2.9% <br />Poor 28 6.8% <br />Fair 64 15.6% <br />Good 111 27.1% <br />Very Good 51 12.4% <br />No Opinion 144 35.1% <br />Responses to the first question in the survey set the tone for responses to the 47 questions rating <br />Louisville performance that follow. Nearly every question has the "good" category highlighted. <br />A strong percentage also considered performance to be "very good" for most questions. <br />In the 1994 survey scale, this question received a 5.4 ranking. The 1999 average transposed to <br />the 1994 scale is 6.4 - a full point improvement. <br />Page -3- <br />
