i. Art Center Capacity is 105. <br />ii. Confirm actual chairs available before opening ticket sales (typically around 85, <br />but can vary based on how many are needed by artist) <br />iii. After last chair is sold, let patron know that seats are sold out and offer them <br />the option to purchase a standing room ticket. <br />iv. Allow/encourage patrons to look at space and decide whether or not to stand. <br />f. Continue to prefer cash/check sales, but have square ready as a backup <br />i. Ask Jennifer for instructions/login <br />ii. Place square and cheat sheet with the LCC cash box <br />4. Additional recommendations for implementing new ticketing system <br />a. Will want to do a short training with LCC on Brown Paper Tickets <br />i. Keep cheat sheet in the cash box <br />b. Set up all shows at beginning of season and make tickets available online <br />i. Add Brown Paper Tickets to marketing materials <br />c. Set policy for offering refunds <br />i. Generally no refunds. <br />ii. Patrons may request a refund due to illness/family emergency and LCC will <br />consider on a case-by-case basis. <br />iii. Set one person responsible for dealing with refunds <br />1. Katie? Current payments for musicians are guarantee vs. split, whichever is higher <br />i. Guarantee <br />1. $300 for acts with 1-3 musicians <br />2. $400 for acts with 4+ musicians <br />ii. Split: 80 artist/20 LCC <br />1. 100 seats x $15 *.8 = $1,200 <br />2. 100 seats x $10 *.8 = $800 <br />iii. $200 for speakers <br />b. Adam confirmed that artist rates are in alignment with the market <br />i. Suggested an official way to request an exception (i.e. to offer a higher quality <br />band more money) <br />
