Louisville City Council Meeting <br />April 6, 2004 <br />Page 10 ofl0 <br /> <br />Council member Brown inquired about a triangular piece of grass at the golf course, <br />which was removed for the reuse water line, and when it would be reseeded. Land <br />Management Director Cindy Lair responded it would be reseeded shortly. <br /> <br />Council member Brown reported visiting the Warembourg Pond project and stated it is a <br />wonderful addition to the City. He also reported on a DRCOG meeting with the ARC, <br />which will investigate Fastracks for transportation issues and make recommendations. <br />He advised Council he had an opportunity to review the entertainment schedule planned <br />for the summer Street Faire, and was quite impressed. <br /> <br />Council member Keany reported on the Youth Advisory Board, which met on Thursday, <br />April 1. He noted the Board has decided to meet through the summer. The Youth Board <br />is drafting letters to City Council asking for their support on various projects. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk reminded Council that the Mayor's Town Meeting is scheduled for <br />tomorrow, April 7, 2004, in the City Council Chambers. He reported on the US 36 <br />Mayor's meeting on April 1, and stated the Mayors support Fastracks and propose a <br />volunteer petition drive, which would be presented before the County Assembly in May. <br />He encouraged Council members to coordinate a tour of the new police facility through <br />the City Manager's office. <br /> <br />City Manager Simmons reported the Community Park Committee would meet to review <br />one final park concept plan, on the morning of Thursday, April 8, at 7:30 a.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />MOTION: <br />Council member Levihn.
