City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 19, 2008 <br />Page 8 of 9 <br />Ember Brignull, Open Space Coordinator introduced herself and explained the <br />Warembourg property is jointly owned by the City and Boulder County and part of <br />the property has been dedicated a conservation area for prairie dogs. The <br />management agreement with Boulder County stipulates the prairie dog <br />population will not overrun Boulder County agricultural land. At this time, the <br />prairie dog colony has spread to the agricultural land. <br />There was Council consensus to direct Staff to follow the Open Space Master <br />Plan. <br />APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES -AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTER, INC. AND CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE FOR CITIZEN SURVEY AND EMPLOYEE SURVEY <br />Councilor Muckle voiced his concern over the amount of time the City Council will <br />have to review the draft survey. <br />City Manager Fleming explained Staff proposes to present a draft survey to <br />Council at the April 22 study session, allowing approximately six days for Council <br />review and comments prior toy the finalization of the survey. Should Council <br />require more time, an earlier date can be set. <br />Mayor Sisk suggested the survey could be reviewed at the April 8th Study <br />Session or the April 15th regular City Council meeting. <br />MOTION: Councilor Muckle moved to approve the Professional Services - <br />Agreement between National Research Center, Inc and the City for Citizen <br />Survey and Employee Survey. Councilor Clabots seconded the motion. Roll call <br />vote was taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0.
