Approval to Cancel March 25, 2008 City Council Study Session <br />PUBLIC COMMEINTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Sam Duran, 1109 Pine Streelr, Louisville, CO expressed his frustration over the <br />loud music from special events. He requested Council restrict live music after <br />10:00 p.m. <br />James Parson, 1183 Sandpiper Lane, Brighton, CO, a mobile vendor of Jimbo's <br />Jumbo Dogs, who conducts lousiness at the Colorado Tech Center, explained <br />Code Enforcement notified him he must cease doing business within ten days. <br />He presented a petition supporting his business, signed by 161 people. He stated <br />this business is the sole source of his income and asked Council to grandfather <br />his business, which was in e~;istence before the 2005 ordinance. <br />Youth Advisory Board membE:rs Megan Valentine, 1101 Grant Avenue, Charlie <br />Light, 603 Lois Drive, and Ruby Dickson, 730 Nighthawk Circle, Louisville, CO <br />invited Council to the Youth P-dvisory Board/Cultural Council "Poetry Slam" on <br />April 12, 2008, at 7:00 p.m., at the Louisville Arts Center. Admission is $2.00 per <br />person. Youths wishing to participate may obtain applications at the Louisville <br />Recreation Center. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk reported Youth Advisory Board members distributed food share bags <br />at Kings Soopers last weekend. He also reported on the National League of <br />Cities meetings he attended last week in Washington, D.C. The meetings <br />included transportation, green build and energy. <br />City Attorney Light addressecl Mr. Parson's concerns and explained the City <br />Council could not take any action this evening. Mr. Parson's desire to change <br />the ordinance would require fiwo City Council meetings and a public hearing. He <br />
