City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 15, 2008 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />No public comments. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Mayor Sisk reported the Preferred Alternative for US 36 was formally signed by <br />the US 36 Coalition of Mayors on Jiuly 9, 2008. He thanked Assistant City <br />Manager Heather Balser for her work on the project. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Malcolm Fleming reported on the following: <br />• The City is seeking Council volunteers for next Friday night's Street Faire <br />to introduce the band Hamilton Loomis. <br />• The City is considering implE:menting single hauler waste collection for <br />residents in the City of Louisville. Public comment is being sought <br />regarding impacts to city residents. The Open House will be at City Hall, <br />749 Main Street, July 16, 2008 7:00 - 9:00 PM. <br />Mayor Sisk reminded Council of the Senior Citizen Ice Cream Social on <br />Thursday, July 17th, at Memory Square Park. He also reported this is the first <br />meeting the Council will use electronic packets. <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br />RESOLUTION No. 30, SERIES 2008 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING A <br />BUSINESS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH BRASEL LLC FOR <br />REINVESTMENT AND ATTRACTION OF A NEW RESTAURANT AT 585 S. <br />BOULDER ROAD IN THE VILLAGE SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER IN THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Becky Hogan, EDge Consulting, 56 Steele Street, Denver, CO presented a <br />Business Assistance Package (BAP) for Brasel LLC for reinvestment and <br />attraction of a new restaurant at 585 S. Boulder Road. The incentives would go <br />to the owner/developer of the Village Shopping Center, Brasel LLC. The <br />developer desires to bring a new restaurant franchise called Beef `O' Brady's <br />Family Sports Pub to the 5,963 square feet of existing vacant space. Beef `O' <br />Brady's Family Sports Pub is a restaurant concept formed in 1985 in Tampa, <br />Florida. The restaurant plans to open during the fourth quarter of 2008 and will <br />be the first Beef `O' Brady's Family Sports Pub in Colorado. <br />
